The U.S. Department of Energy selected 25 Solar America Cities to help lay the foundation for a solar energy market that can serve as a model for cities around the nation. Everyday, more and more cities across the US are taking action to make solar energy a more viable option for their communities and learning how to define solar energy for their state. The map below is provided by the US Dept. of Energy and you can see what the resource potential is for your city and state.

I told my friends that we get enough sun here in Ohio, but they did not believe me. I am going to get a solar installation on my business this year and I am in Columbus. This is one area that seems to be growing because all these solar installers are booked for 2 months out.
