The Aquaduct is a pedal powered bike that transports, filters and stores water. We talk a lot about alternative fuel ideas and eco friendly products, but this invention provides a solution to cleaning dirty and contaminated water for people in many third world countries. It transports the most important type of fuel, water. Without clean water, humans cannot survive.

The Aquaduct is the winner of the Innovate or Die contest put on by Google and this eco friendly product can help provide a solution for millions of people around the world who do not have a way to clean their water. Water-related diseases kill thousands of people every day. Women in these countries are mostly responsible for the difficult task of transporting water to their families daily.
