New Green Diet - Pedal and Watch

Thursday, October 29, 2009 by Guest Blogger
I have tried so many diets out there without success, but after seeing this video below, I was inspired to try something new. I searched the Internet, found the plans on how to pedal my bike and power my television set and had it built by a local electrician for under $200.

Six months ago, I was 275 pounds. I am now 195 pounds and I have not really changed too much of my diet, but just how I watch TV. I love watching TV programs at night and college football on Saturday and the NFL on Sundays. In the past, I sat there, eating snacks and drinking beer.  Now, I have my own Green Diet success story.

The only way I can watch my TV is to get off my butt and start to pedal in order to power the TV to run. So, I am getting daily excercise, losing weight, not eating as many snacks since its hard to eat Doritos and drink beer while pedaling a bike to power my TV. - Kevin, Guest Blogger for GreenEnergyTV.com

I hope this inspires you too, check out the video below:

Talk about an awesome diet! I am going to submit this to Oprah. You may have just created the best diet out there and its paired with the green inventions as well! I love this Green Diet!

I have always wondered if my gym could harness the energy from the bikes, treadmills, etc. and this is very cool! I am part of a national schools going green organization and I am going to recommend that students can get these devices and power our computer lab while they are in gym class. Maybe our schools can create its own energy via the students. How green is that? Anyone else out there doing this kind of stuff?

I love it and maybe I should get my butt out of my chair at night and start spinning in my basement. This would definitely force me to ride if I want to watch TV. Maybe new TV should come with a kit for people to power if they want to lose weight. Great Marketing idea for green energy. I agree with Missy, Oprah should mention this blog post on her show.
